Do you know what you should be doing but just can’t seem to be able to do it? Does your desire to follow God often get overridden by a lack of self-discipline?

I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. Romans 7:15 (NLT)

One thing that helps me to walk in the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit is to speak in tongues. He desires for you to walk in His fruits and gifts more than you but you cannot do it on your own – not for long anyway.

Power comes from a relationship with the Holy Spirit. His power in us is needed to overcome sin, create faith for living, flow in the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, etc. These are all supernatural things that requires a supernatural source—the Holy Spirit.

So He has given you the gift of speaking in tongues to help you do it. Power to overcome and to do comes from the Holy Spirit and one way to release it is is praying in tongues. Speaking in tongues connects our human spirit with the Holy Spirit and helps us cross from living 100% in the natural into the Supernatural.

I challenge you to speak in tongues everyday. If you don’t speak in tongues just ask Him for the gift!
