What do you need to succeed? The world says you need a plan, time management, a vision, organization skills, goal setting, luck, and a good product. True. But these things are not enough.
Besides these, you need 3P’s that are a foundation to the above. Without these 3 P’s you will fail no matter how good your product is or how well your manage your vision. These 3 P’s are what separates you from everyone else with a good vision. Your product may be your song writing, ministry, software, art, music, business, or new product. The 3 P’s required for success are:
1. Passion
Passion is where you want people to experience your product more than you care about the pain to deliver it.
Passion that when other people don’t get why you are doing what you are doing, you still don’t stop. Even if it has been years.
Passion when resistance comes from lack of resources you still don’t stop but figure out a way to keep going.
Passion when you are discouraged you learn how to encourage yourself.
Passion is where you refuse to leave this earth without having given it everything.
2. Perseverance
Perseverance is refusing to quit. Regroup yes, retire never. Take a rest yes, quit never.
Perseverance is still believing even when family and friends have stopped.
Perseverance is moving like a tortoise if you have too but you still move.
3. Prophetic
Prophetic is hearing God’s voice about what you are to do.
Prophetic enables us to partner with Him.
Prophetic is the edge that no book or mentor or experience can give.
Prophetic is God’s encouragement to us He hasn’t forgotten about you and still believes in you.
Acts 20:24 (NIV 1984) However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me–the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.
