My Problems are Huge. What Do I Do?

There have been days when all I can see are how big of a mess I am in. I feel like one of the men who were complaining to Caleb.

But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” Numbers 13:31

We are called to be kingdom people – bringing the King’s values into our world. This means you will go against the status quo to bring something different. Another way to say it is that kingdom people are supposed to take new territory.

This sounds glorious until the problems you face fill your whole vision! If this is you then you are probably in the perfect place. Whenever God asks you to do something it will always be bigger than you and you will not be able to do it on your own. He does this to keep you dependent on Him and to include Him as part of the process. He wants to be partners with you in life and not just give you an assignment you go off and do by yourself.

So when your problems are overtaking you remember you are in the right place. Relax. Tell God you can’t wait to see how He gets you out of the mess. Tell others that progress is being made and you are going forward. Do your part by doing what you can and what He tells you to do. Then rest knowing everything else is His part. In the natural you may look crazy but God calls you a kingdom person walking in faith – faith not in yourself but in Him!

We live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
