I love getting to know the Holy Spirit. Most people don’t realize He is a person you can get to know. I want to share with you one thing I have learned about Him and how he leads people.

When you get stuck and don’t know what to do pray in tongues.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. Romans 8:26-27 (NIV) 

When you are not getting results pray in the Spirit for a different direction. Don’t keep beating your head up against a wall wondering what to do next. Slow down, find a private place, and start speaking in tongues asking God what to do about the problem. Pray as much as you can and the Holy Spirit will teach you as to what to do. It will happen! It is one of the roles of the Holy Spirit – guide you into all truth. The Holy Spirit will give you the answers you need.

This is simple. Hard to discipline ourselves to do the simple, but simple.

So go and pray in tongues!
