I have always lived waiting for the Lord to take care of my problems so that I could rest.

I am thinking that No Problems leads to Rest!

Recently, the Lord showed me this verse: Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: Psalms 37:7a

He wants me to know that In Problems learn to Rest!

He is telling me that the absence of problems was not what was going to produce rest. I had to rest IN THE LORD in the middle of problems to get rest. If I would learn to rest then problems are solved by Him. I had it backwards. I have been waiting for problems to be solved so that I could get some rest.

He said, “I AM. Not I WILL BE.”

God is teaching me that when I rest in Him it allows Him to move on my behalf. When I am anxious it hinders Him from moving on my behalf.

Have you ever noticed in the gospels that Jesus healed more people on the Sabbath – the day of rest – than any other day? Man was resting and they were getting healed. Interesting.

We need to learn to rest in the Lord so that He can do what He has already finished.

Will you pray with me, “Lord help me in my unrest to rest in you.”
