Have you ever heard the saying – Variety is the Spice of Life?

I think God lives by this saying. Have you ever noticed in your walk with God He rarely tells you to do something the same way twice?

It’s exciting in one way but frustrating in another. I do want to follow God, but I have to listen closer when He keeps changing the way things are done.

I wonder how Jesus handled it? He came to do the will of the Father so we know He always did His will. But have you noticed that Jesus healed people from their sicknesses many different ways?

Sometimes He healed by spitting on their eyes, the 10 lepers were healed on their way to see the priest, or they were healed when they touched his robe, etc. It seems like Jesus must have been constantly placing Himself in a position to hear God’s voice. He understood the principle that I am just now starting to understand.

Life comes from hearing the Holy Spirit and He rarely works the same way twice.
