We desire to be Jesus followers who are 3P People! This is who we want to Be. What is a 3P Person?

It is a person walking in Jesus’ Presence, that has Jesus’ Perspective, and living in Jesus’ Power!

Presence

Walking in His Presence is why you were created!

Moses asked God in Exodus 33:15, “What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” What makes us special? The amazing thing is God answered the question in verse 14. The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

We want His presence in us in order to know Him and on us to bless others.

Perspective

We also want to grow in His perspective – this is His way of thinking, His way of living, His way of understanding. To do this we value His principles and His values starting with the importance of the Word of God. We want to grow in wisdom and revelation.

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. Ephesians 1:17

Power

We need the Holy Spirit’s power in order to grow in the 9 Fruits of the Holy Spirit and to walk regularly in His 9 gifts. 

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self- control. Galatians 5:22-23

To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:8-10

As we grow in the power of the Holy Spirit we will live a fruitful and victorious Christian life. Otherwise life becomes dull, rote, boring, and only the most disciplined among us even look like we are following God.
