Back in September I wrote a blog called, “Death is so Inconvenient”.
Since then I have often wondered when would I finally be dead? You know, not physically, but the part of me that is me. The part that gets in the way of God.
Well, it’s been a few months now and I have a partial answer.
Romans 6:11 (NIV) In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Dead men don’t sin.
Dead men don’t have stress.
Dead men don’t have opinions.
Dead men don’t get offended.
Dead men don’t get angry.
Dead men don’t have to give their side.
Well, since I have done all of these just in the past month, I guess I’m not dead yet.
I think I must be on the slow budget priced death plan. I need to upgrade to the premium death plan and hurry up and die. I’m ready to plan my funeral.
I wonder how I could speed it up? But, I am afraid if it sped up anymore I might die.
Still alive and kicking. Unfortunately.
